In line with Óbuda University’s strategic goal to strengthen its international visibility and academic reputation, the QS Rankings Committee was established to support advancement in the QS World University Rankings. The committee is tasked with identifying and implementing institutional improvements aligned with QS indicators, such as research output, internationalization, academic partnerships, and employer engagement.
The Kandó Kálmán Faculty of Electrical Engineering has delegated two representatives to the committee: Dr. István Németh, vice dean for research, and Dr. habil. Tibor Wührl, associate professor. Their role is to support university-wide initiatives with faculty-specific insights and to facilitate internal development processes that contribute to enhanced ranking performance.
The committee operates as a consultative and coordinating body, working closely with university leadership and faculty representatives to propose data-driven strategies and monitor progress across ranking dimensions.
