Thank you for your interest in our education programmes at Kandó Kálmán Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Óbuda University. The application procedures of our faculty are managed by Óbuda University.
The application process is as follows:
(Prospective students applying for a scholarship should follow the application process of the scholarship program.)
For the application procedure you will need the following documents in English translation:
- High School transcripts of records, with reference to Mathematics, Physics and English language;
- High school leaving certificate – G.C.E. or any equivalent secondary high school diploma;
- Copy of passport;
- Curriculum Vitae;
- Two letters of recommendation (for MSc applications);
- Certification of English Language Proficiency

The English language proficiency requirement can be waived in case of previous studies completed fully in English with qualification documents (i.e. high school diploma or undergraduate degree in case of applications to graduate programs) issued originally in English.
NOTE: Notarization is necessary for every school leaving document even if the original is in English. Notification of your acceptance / rejection will be sent to you after your complete application has been reviewed within a 60 day period. All necessary further information will be attached to the Letter of Acceptance.
Entrance tests:
– in Mathematics and Physics (as well as drawing, only for Industrial Design Engineering)
– a personal interview (oral exam) via Ms Teams
